Granville Golfland is Licking County Ohio’s premier game improvement center. Located along busy State Route 161 and River Road, Granville Golfand is owned by partners Jeff Jackson, Vonda Welch and Joe Giles. The business was purchased a few years ago by Jackson and Welch who have made countless improvements including an expanded grass teeing area, added practice targets, a practice putting green and most recently a new 1500-square foot pro shop and repair center.
The new building has allowed Golfland to be open all year; heated covered tees are an integral part of the rear of the new building and have already proven to be a popular addition to serious golfers. It is those same serious players who are taking advantage of the repair, custom club and performance upgrade center at Granville Golfland. The popularity of the new facility has increased awareness of the importance of proper fit and maintained equipment. Repair and upgrades are up “several hundred percent”, according to Jackson, who does the majority of the club work at Golfland.
