AXIV Tetra-Axial (4 axis) weave is the most exotic material used in the production of golf shafts today. This material enables our engineers to weave 4 different modulus carbon fibers in 4 different directions all in one ply of material. Thinner yet stronger walls createstabilityandfeelnot found in any other graphite golf shaft.

AXIV material creates our "Rapid Recovery System" which resists deformation and recovers to round faster than any other graphite golf shaft. A Certified ACCRA Fitter will ensure that the perfect ACCRA AXIV shaft is matched to your swing for maximum results.

When fitted by a certified ACCRA Fitter the new ACCRA AXIV shaft promises to provide optimal launch trajectory, controlled spin rates, penetrating ball flight for maximum carry, shallower angle of decent for extreme roll out, and the smooth ACCRA feel.

1 Axis vs 2 Axis vs 4 Axis Materials

1 Axis - Conventional shafts have used materials wrapped with only unidirectional plies. To affect hoop more plies, stiffer material or a larger butt diameter has to be used! The result is a counter balanced design, stiffer shaft flex or too large of a butt diameter.

2 Axis - Graphite manufacturers have used bidirectional material in a single ply to work on hoop stability! Material could run 0 - 90 direction or 45 - 45 direction.

4 Axis - AXIV Technology (4 Axis material), engineered with only one ply of material, provides the most efficient design in terms of shaft stability.
